Great news! @PedigreeFound has given us a substantial grant to support our emergency care for chihuahuas seized from a puppy mill program and get more dogs into loving homes. Pedigree Foundation is helping with medical costs to have these chihuahua dogs evaluated and treated so we can either transport them to a rescue or adopt them out. To date, we have adopted out about half of the 73 chihuahuas we received from the Avoca house fire.

If you aren’t familiar with PEDIGREE Foundation, they’re a 501(c)(3) formed by the makers of PEDIGREE® food for dogs. Their focus is helping dogs in need find loving homes — a goal we share! You can find out more about them at www.pedigreefoundation.org
